Hooah! Care Packages

“Supporting the troops has got to mean more than bumper stickers on pickup trucks, my friends. We need to give them what they need.”

Enfield Hooah sends care packages to soldiers who are currently deployed and are registered via the hooah website. In order to benefit the most soldiers we need YOUR help. Please take a moment to look over the list of items that are most often needed.

We will have a drop box located at the Village Center located at 100 High Street in Enfield and area businesses.  In addition, you can arrange to drop off items with Lori directly. (*sign up for the 'hooah happenings' newsletter via the main page to receive announcements and information).

Care packages are sent on a monthly basis, one per service member per month deployed.  These care packages are comprised of items donated by members of our community, schools, etc, and nothing goes to waste (if we don't use it this month, it is stored for use in future months).  These care packages are very appreciated by those who are deployed.

We hope that you will consider donating; our soldiers depend on us as much as we depend on them!

If you know of a soldier with ties to Enfield who is currently deployed and would like to receive Hooah care packages, please either send a private message via this site to me, Lori Gates (just click on the name in the "user list"), or email me directly at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with the following information:

Soldier's full name and rank

mailing address (APO or FPO- this information will not be made public due to security issues)

estimated dates of orders for deployment

local contact information (phone or email)

Once this information is received, I will contact the sender to get further information, photos if available, etc.  We will support our Enfield soldiers for the duration of their deployment...with your help!

Thank you!!
