On March 5, 2012, SSG Peter Mitchell (one of Enfield Hooah's 'adopted' soldiers), made a surprise visit to the Enfield Town Council to present an American Flag flown over northern Afghanistan during his deployment, as a thank you to the citizens of Enfield for their support.
